Billinudgel, NSW: For more than 30 years, Chris Prosser has dedicated his life to helping others heal. From caring for everyday clients to supporting elite athletes, world champions, and professionals on the WSL and PGA tours, Chris has spent decades putting others first. Now, he and his family need our help.
Behind his successful career, Chris has quietly battled severe chronic illness and cancer for much of his adult life. In 2005, he faced Stage 3C colon cancer and endured major bowel surgery, chemotherapy, and reconstructive procedures. The long recovery placed enormous financial strain on his family, forcing them to exhaust savings and borrow against their home just to survive.
Despite the odds, Chris fought his way back. He rebuilt his health, returned to work, and continued serving others with compassion, wisdom, and unwavering dedication.
Then, in late 2024, cancer returned in the final remaining original section of his bowel. After months of intensive treatments initially showed promise, surgery became unavoidable in 2026. What was expected to be a short hospital stay quickly turned into a life-threatening battle involving multiple emergency surgeries, severe complications, internal bleeding, and critical weight loss.
Today, Chris remains unable to eat and depends on IV-delivered nutrition while facing further surgeries, rehabilitation, specialist care, and mounting medical expenses.
Yet even through unimaginable hardship, Chris continues to face life with courage, gratitude, humility, and love. His journey has strengthened the bond within his family and reminded everyone around him of the power of resilience and hope.
