Andrew proudly served in the United States Air Force, demonstrating dedication, discipline, and patriotism. His service reflected his commitment to something greater than himself.

Beyond his professional life, Andrew was a passionate traveler and creative artist. He explored countries including Romania and the Philippines, embracing different cultures with openness and enthusiasm. He is survived by his loving wife, Gisella Zimmer; his mother, Dawn Hilling; his adoptive father, Mark Zimmer (Susan); his siblings, Seth Zimmer, Hannah Zimmer, and Sierra LaPiana; and extended family who cherished him dearly. He was preceded in death by his adoptive mother, Angela Zimmer; his grandmother, Yvonne Cox; and his adoptive father, Dwayne Dye.

Andrew’s legacy includes his military service, academic achievements in finance, global travels, and creative contributions to music. He leaves behind memories of kindness, laughter, and inspiration.

Funeral Arrangements and Celebration of Life

Funeral arrangements are being handled by Hastings Funeral Home, 153 Spruce St., Morgantown, WV.

  • Visitation: Thursday, May 21, 2026, from 9:00 AM
  • Funeral Service: 10:00 AM at Hastings Funeral Home
  • Burial: West Virginia National Cemetery, Grafton, WV
    • Committal service at 2:00 PM with full military honors
