Accident in Alloa Today: Police are asking motorists and members of the public to stay away from part of Alloa following a serious road traffic collision that occurred on Sunday afternoon, May 17.

The incident was reported to emergency services shortly before 3 p.m. on the A907 Clackmannan Road. As a result, the road has been closed between the Morrisons roundabout and the Shillinghill roundabout while emergency crews respond at the scene.

According to reports, an air ambulance was dispatched and landed at the grounds of Alloa Athletic Football Club to assist emergency responders. The extent of injuries involved in the crash has not yet been officially confirmed.

In a statement, Police Scotland said: “The A907 Clackmannan Road in Alloa is closed between the Morrisons roundabout and the Shillinghill roundabout following a crash reported to police around 2.40pm on Sunday, May 17. Road users and the public are advised to avoid the area.”

The Scottish Ambulance Service has been approached for further information as investigations continue.
