Minto Manitoba Death: With profound sadness, the communities of Minto and Neepawa mourn the passing of Pamala Margaret Kerkowich, lovingly known as Pam, who passed away on May 11, 2026, at the Health Sciences Centre in Winnipeg at the age of 29.
Born on October 29, 1996, Pam was a bright and compassionate soul whose warmth touched everyone fortunate enough to know her. A former food and beverage server at Montana’s BBQ and a student at Brandon University, Pam was admired for her hardworking nature, caring heart, and uplifting spirit.
Pam will be lovingly remembered by her devoted partner Derek Tufts, her beloved son Carter, her parents Dave and Debbie, and her extended family and friends who cherished her deeply. She was a dedicated mother who adored her son and brought joy and laughter wherever she went.
Friends describe Pam as someone with a smile that could light up an entire room. Whether spending time with loved ones, sharing meaningful conversations, or simply making others laugh, she had a remarkable way of making people feel valued and loved. Her kindness and beautiful personality left a lasting impact on coworkers, clients, and everyone she encountered.
A funeral service celebrating Pam Kerkowich’s life will be held on Wednesday, May 27, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. at Neepawa United Church. A memorial reception will follow at 4:00 p.m. at Minto Community Hall in Minto, Manitoba. Family interment will take place at Minto Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Pam’s memory may be made to the Canadian Mental Health Association.
